Dr. Robert Quilez DDS
"Bob" was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but grew up an hour from Richmond in Yorktown, Va. Attended VCU for undergraduate studies and graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 2005. Dr. Quilez has been a partner at Drs. Oley and Quilez DDS PLC since 2005. Dentistry has become his passion.
Being the most experienced dentist at our location, practices all phases of general dentistry for adults and children including preventitive, restorative, emergency, and cosmetic dentistry.
An active member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Give kids a Smile programs, and frequently visits local schools and church groups to educate children on the importance of dental hygiene. Dentistry has been part of his life even before becoming a dentist. While in college he trained to become a Certified Dental Assistant and was the first dental student to practice Dental Hygiene in Virginia under the supervision of MCV, but in private practice.
For fun he enjoys playing with his wife and daugter, dogs, exercising, outdoors, reading, college sports (go Rams!), professional sports (Go Eagles!), and almost any DIY project. Dr. Quilez's wife, Irene Quilez, is a Registered Dental Hygienist and MCV graduate as well! Dentistry is truely a part of our family.
Dr. Jessica Smith
Dr. Jessica Smith was born and raised in Midlothian, VA. She received her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. She then graduated from the VCU School of Dentistry in 2009.
Dr. Smith has been practicing dentistry for almost a decade and her passion is helping each patient achieve and maintain a beautiful smile. Teaching is a strong suit of Dr. Smith, having taught dental assisting at Fortis College.
Dr. Smith and her husband, Allen have two kids, Rilynne(age 10) and Jackson (age 5). In her free time, she enjoys coaching her daughter’s cheer team for Clover Hill Bulldogs and sings on the worship team at Clover Hill Church.
She loves to spend time with friends and family, play outside with her kids, watch movies, ride bikes at Pocahontas, travel, and loves all types of music. Dr. Smith has a special love for children and looks forward to treating your entire family.
Dr. Kime A. Whitman is from Great Falls, Virginia. She graduated from George Mason University with a B.S. in Biology with honors. She obtained her education as a dentist from Virginia Commonwealth University. Upon Graduation she began her career practicing in Virginia Beach, but missed Richmond so much she had to move back.
In addition to caring for her patients, Dr. Whitman enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and playing the piano. Some of her drive and motivation stems from her training as a competitive figure skater. When it comes to sports, her favorite team to cheer for is the Washington Capitols.
Dr. Ralph H.B. “Chip” Anderson, better known to his patients as Dr. Chip, followed in his father’s footsteps, pursuing a career in orthodontics. He has been practicing for 12 years and started working with his father in 1997. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Hampton University and enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he became a Captain. While stationed in Ft. Ord, California, he decided to enroll at the Medical College of Virginia to become a dentist and continue the family practice. Dr. Chip earned his dental degree from MCV at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, and then completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Like his father, he also accomplished a ‘first.’ Dr. Chip was the first African-American to finish the orthodontic residency program at the University of Louisville. Dr. Chip is well-respected in the orthodontic community as he is board certified.
Away from the office, Dr. Chip enjoys football, golf, video games and volunteering with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and the Leukemia Society.
